All the details you can find below in the "FAQ" section.

Self-study class
The "Self-study" button is always available on the site. This means that you can login and solve problems any time you want. What is the best way to deal with it? You choose the site where you want to solve problems. The problems are sorted in order of increasing complexity. There are icons next to the problems: a book means "open a problem for reading", a triangle (or "play") means "open a problem for solving". This way you may see which problems you have already read and which have not. After you get the "Accepted" verdict, the problem disappears from the list.
Note: during a class on the site this button becomes inactive.
